<br>Features: ORANGE. HEAVY BODIED. MEDIUM SET for CPVC pipe 1/2 "through 12" in all<br>classes and schedules. For cold,hot water (180 fahrenheit) and industrial piping<br>systems.<br>Directions: Store below 90 fahrenheit (33 centigrade).Use only on CPVC plastic. Shake<br>or stir before use.If jelled,replaoo.Use within 2years of date stamped on bottom<br>of can.<br>1.Cut pipe square and deburr. Clean and dry joining surfaces. Check dry fit. For<br>inter ference fit, pipe should push 1/4 to 3/4 way into fitting snugly.<br>2.Use a suitable applicator at least 1/2 size of the pipe diameter; for larger sizes<br>use brush or roller.<br>3.Apply Weld-Or,primer and follow directions.Apply a full,even layer of cement on<br>the pipe equal to the depth of socket. Coat the fitting socket with a medium layer.Avoid<br>excess and puddling. On bell end pipe,do not coat beyond socket depth<br>or allow cement to run beyond the bell. If necessary, apply a second,full layer<br>on pipe.Cement should fill all gaps.<br>4.Assemble while cement is wet. If not wet,recoat parts before assembly.Insure pipe<br>bottoms into fitting socket. Twist 1/8 to 1/4 turn; to avoid pushout and allow<br>for initial set,hold for about 30seconds.Wipe off excess.<br>5.Allow several minutes for good handing strength. At temperatures from 60 fahrenheit(16<br>centigrade) to 110 fahrenheit(44 centigrade),allow 24 hours cure for cold<br>water systems and 48 hours cure for hot water.Between 40 fahrenheit(5 centigrade)<br>and 60 fahrenheit(16 centigrade),allow 48 hours for cold water and 96 hours<br>for hot water systems. Longer cure periods are necessary when system is usde for<br>chemicals. Cure time is affected by pipe diameter, pressure and temperature. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.<br>Use skin and eye protedtion. Eye contact may cause injury.Keep container closed.<br>If inhaled,move into fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration.If<br>breathing is difficult,give oxygen and call physician. In case of eye or skin<br>contact,flush with water for 15 mins. If irritation persists,get medical attention.If<br>swalloved,give 2 glasses of water.
